Adaptive Reuse Overlay and Bramanville Village Districts

We have been informed that a discussion of the Adaptive Reuse Overlay District and the Bramanville Village District zoning bylaws will be added to the published agenda for the Millbury Planning Board on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 7:15 PM.

Residents in Bramanville Village and throughout Millbury have voiced concerns about the results of these two zoning district bylaws, specifically, Stratford Village, Singletary Arms (under review by DEP), and the much talked about condominiums on the corner of West Main Street and Beach Street. The general consensus seems to be that these residential projects do not represent the objectives of the most recent Millbury Master Plan and that these projects were mistakes that should not be repeated.

Therefore, the Adaptive Reuse Overlay District and the Bramanville Village District zoning bylaws will be opened up for discussion amongst the Millbury Planning Board members. If you are someone who has concerns about this topic, or amendment or repeal of these zoning bylaws, then you should consider attending this Millbury Planning Board meeting. This may be a board only discussion, however, the Millbury Planning Board chairperson could elect to open up the discussion to those residents present at the meeting, at his sole discretion.

Although it is preferable to attend the meeting in person at the Millbury Town Hall located at 127 Elm Street in Millbury, Massachusetts, if you are unable to, you can attend remotely via Zoom with the Meeting ID 838 6338 0874.
