Planning Board 2024 Candidates
Drawing from factual observations made by numerous participants in meetings and public hearings over recent years, this blog post unveils pivotal insights into the workings of the Millbury Planning Board. While its content may be confronting for some, it will surely strike a chord with others. With many challenges ahead of us, it's time for us, as registered voters, to face reality if we truly desire genuine change. While some may find it uncomfortable, we must be prepared for honest and direct assessments of the board members. It is up to us to elect the change we desire for our community.
Planning Board Weighs In On Rice Pond Village
Millbury Planning Board members document their concerns that the Chapter 40B Rice Pond Village project could significantly affect the town, and that they are prepared to support the Board of Appeals in assessing its impact and any project conditioning as may be required. We suggest a substantial reduction in the scale of this project or its denial, unless all the concerns mentioned here can be effectively mitigated.
Article 24 Defeated
After a lot of impassioned speakers on Article 24 of the Town Warrant Article which essentially was to take away the voters of Millbury's vote for Millbury Planning Board members, at least two-thirds majority voted and defeated Article 24, dubbed by some as the power grab and undemocratic.
