We, the neighborhood and the Millbury Planning Board, won the first battle with the denial of the special permit of the initial 46-unit condominium proposed Rice Pond Village project on February 14, 2022. We will need everyone’s continued assistance to mitigate any detrimental impacts on our neighborhood, surrounding neighborhoods, and the town of Millbury from inappropriate and irresponsible multi-family developments.

Steven F. Venincasa and James Venicasa have already proposed a Chapter 40B LIP project for 17 Rice Road with 192-apartments, with 48 being “affordable,” in three (3) four-story buildings to the Millbury Board of Selectmen.
