It’s Decision Day

The choices made today by participants in our local democracy will determine the representatives responsible for making collective decisions on our behalf. Therefore, it is crucial to choose wisely, as the outcomes can significantly affect daily life.

If you are a registered voter in Millbury, remember that the polls are located at the Millbury Memorial Junior/Senior High School on 12 Martin Street in Millbury, Massachusetts, open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

It's important to note that active participation and showing up can either make a difference, bring positive changes, or keep the incumbent candidate who has served us well in office.

It is important to show our support and encourage others to support Richard F. Gosselin, Jr. and Terry Burke Dotson for the Planning Board, and Brian A. Sora for the Board of Selectmen. These individuals have shown a strong commitment to our neighborhood and community, as well as a dedication to upholding the rule of law. They have pledged to continue this commitment in the future, making them excellent candidates for our support.

We also strongly encourage you to show your support for Article 22, the temporary building moratorium on multi-family dwelling units (3 or more units), during the Annual Town Meeting on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, which will be held at the Millbury Memorial Junior/Senior High School, beginning at 7:00 PM. This town warrant article is crucial to allow sufficient time to engage in a planning process to address the effects of such structures and uses in the Town and to enact bylaws consistent with sound land use planning goals and objectives. This temporary moratorium is for multi-family projects with three or more dwelling units. It has no implications for other types of projects, such as: single-family, two-family or duplexes, commercial, and industrial.
